Camp Verde Grows (2018)

Location: North-side of Thanks-a-Latte (348 S. Main St, Camp Verde, AZ 86322)
Description: A mural depicting the agricultural history of Camp Verde, from the town’s current farming landscape and produce all the way back to ancient Native American culture. As a collaborative team, the artists produced the piece with consultation of cultural accuracy from the Yavapai-Apache Nation Cultural Resource Center.

Location: Between Main St. and 3rd St.
Description: Hallett Plaza – originally dedicated to Margaret Hallett in 1988 – is currently being redesigned into a creative public-use space. The future will reveal a mosaic-tile mural along the entire interior of the plaza walls, a micro-performing stage with electrical outlets, and a floor of community-dedicated red bricks.
Featured now: Bronze Pecan Tree (2019) donated by local bronze artist, Bob Cracraft; Bronze Dedicated Book Plaque (1988) by bronze artist John Soderberg.
Sam and Sara – “Dark Sky” Mural (2019)

Location: North-side of Camp Verde Public Works Department (395 S. Main St, Camp Verde, AZ 86322)
Description: Sam and Sara is a 43-page children’s book on walls – a passion project of muralist, Isaac Caruso. This project includes 42 other murals located throughout Arizona – each telling the story of home and Arizona landscapes.
This mural is dedicated to the Camp Verde Dark Sky initiative and features the pleiades seven sisters constellation.
