My friend found a knobby, green, vintage vase there, which she absolutely loves. I don’t think she could have found that exact vase for sale anywhere else in Arizona. That’s what makes antiquing in Camp Verde so special! Verde Valley Resale is dog-friendly and open daily, 10am-5pm at 348 Main Street.

I was lucky to see a rare combination pistol/knife from the mid-1800’s—the first of its kind they’ve ever had in-stock. A utility knife is built-in to the barrel! I was also impressed with the cannons, revolvers, swords, and an old tomahawk with a weeping heart cut-out in the blade. Stop by Wednesdays, 11am-5:30pm, or call 928-202-6899 to make an appointment for another day. Starting in 2019, Old World Guns is adding Saturday hours from 10am to 4pm. When closed, they’re out searching for rare collectibles.

From clothing and collectibles to fabric and furniture, this little shop is worth the stop. My best purchase there was a highly-discounted, real wood end table with a lamp and magazine rack built-in for only $10! I use it every day. The heart-shaped cut outs in the wood are adorable.
